Daniel was recommended to me while I was preparing my applications for music conservatories. We worked to get a score on the TOEFL that would allow me to get into any music school in the US. Daniel knew exactly what I was going to face and showed me ways to improve my score as well as expand my vocabulary. In May 2018, I finished my Bachelor’s at Oberlin Conservatory of Music and am moving on to graduate school at the Cleveland Institute of Music. I would totally recommend classes with Daniel. En 2012, postulé al Programa CORFO para perfeccionar mi inglés. Fui asignada al grupo donde Daniel era uno de los profesores. Subí mi puntaje en el TOEIC en más de 100 puntos, y también aproveché de profundizar conocimientos en gramática y vocabulario. Las clases con Daniel estaban muy bien estructuradas, dinámicas y creativas. Me parece una cualidad única de Daniel el haber podido manejar a un grupo de adultos cansados (luego de un día de trabajo) y lograr que estos participarán en las actividades. Daniel es un excelente profesor, logra mantenerte interesado y desafiado permanentemente, además que cuenta con una paciencia infinita.

Daniel es un excelente profesor con muchísima experiencia. Durante 2 años estudié con Daniel, y desde la primera clase me motivó a conseguir mis objetivos y a no rendirme. I met Daniel when I took classes through the Corfo scholarship program in 2012. He was always enthusiastic, full of motivation and used new techniques for us to learn. Every single class was different! He is friendly and likes to keep in touch with his students, and sometimes I go to a "potluck dinner" where I can meet other "gringo" friends and practice my English. I really recommend his classes because you'll be able to not only learn English but also have the opportunity to practice and improve your goals in other practical situations.

Aprender inglés siempre fue un objetivo esencial en mi vida. Decidí tomar clases personalizadas con Daniel por recomendación de una amiga que había tenido buenos resultados con él. La metodología que emplea Daniel es holística y consiste en estar inmerso en el idioma con el uso de herramientas cotidianas e incentivar el uso de herramientas en el trabajo a distancia con aplicaciones. Aunque todavía no tengo un nivel avanzado, continuo usando sus herramientas para mejorar mis habilidades. In 2016 I was preparing for the IELTS General exam, and I asked Daniel to help me improve my essay writing skills. I wrote essays, sent them to Daniel, got feedback and edited them accordingly. Daniel would always reply quickly and provide valuable comments; if I had any questions, we would discuss them by Skype. We completed 10 essays in this manner, and later I was able to get 7.5 score on the exam on the first attempt, which consequently helped me immigrate to Canada. Now I work in a software company in Toronto.

When I was an undergraduate in 2013, I had to take the TOEFL to go on exchange to the USA. My English was not good enough to get the needed score, so I took private lessons with Daniel. My English improved considerably thanks to his commitment and personalized method of teaching. After a semester of lessons, I achieved the score to go on exchange, and I just completed a Master of Fine Arts at the Columbus College of Arts and Design.
